Fiero was found in Whitley County, Indiana. His coloration and lack of fear of humans indicated that he was either abandoned or a lost pet. Exotic “pets” cannot survive in the wild after being raised or acclimated in captivity. The Department of Natural Resources placed him permanently at Black Pine.
