Sadie, Umbrella Cockatoo

Sadie was owned by a young couple who had previously bred and sold smaller birds. She was a personal “pet.” When the couple had their first baby, the household was far too noisy and dusty with the bird, so they needed to find her a new home. In addition to donating Sadie’s birdcage, they also donated used cages from other birds they once had. Sadie loves attention and enjoys watching visitors as they tour Black Pine.
