Sammy was surrendered from a private home. His original owner passed away, and he then endured changes in the family’s home. Suffering from diminished time and attention, he began plucking his feathers out. This is habit-forming, and he still does this at times, but he is doing much better than he was. Sammy’s vocabulary is the best of all the birds. “Hi Sammy,” “Hello,” “How are you?” “Look what I got!” “Up, step up,” “Good bird,” and “Pretty bird,” having entire conversations with himself.
