Timber was acquired as a cub to replace a previous ‘exhibit’ cougar that had passed away at the Hueston Woods State Park in Ohio in 2012. He remained there, well cared for, until officials surrendered him to the Ohio Department of Resources when they were not compliant with new laws and opted not to make the changes necessary to become compliant.
