π¦π Nothing But Crickets – A Wild Valentine’s Day Celebration! ππ¦
Love: it’s the heart of Valentine’s Day, right? Well, at Black Pine Animal Sanctuary, we’re spicing things up a bit!
Our primate and reptile pals are in for a Valentine’s treat β delectable crickets that’ll make their hearts skip a beat (or a chirp)!
But here’s where you come in β join the fun by grabbing a cricket of your own for just $5! You get to name that chirpy critter after someone who’s given you those “special” moments of annoyance. Is it your ex, a boss, a co-worker, a cheeky family member, or maybe even a well-known politician? The options are endless!

Where Do Your Funds Go?
At Black Pine Animal Sanctuary, we’re making a real difference in the lives of exotic animals. Every dollar raised from our painting event goes toward:
- Animal Habitat Maintenance: Animals are provided with an environment that mirrors, to the extent possible, their natural habitat — making a comfy and safe home.
- Important Medical Procedures and Support: We spend typically $2,000 a month for medications and veterinary care.
- Food for the Animals: Our animals require over 1,400 pounds of meat weekly.
- Animal Enrichment Objects: A holistic approach aimed at improving the quality of life for animals in captivity, ensuring that their existence transcends mere survival.
