Volunteer

The day-to-day operations at Black Pine Animal Sanctuary involve numerous chores, feeding, and caring for the almost 80 animal residents. Volunteers at Black Pine have the unique opportunity to enrich the lives of exotic animals. Volunteer Applicants are welcome, and we need help all year for many duties, including animal care assistance, maintenance, diet preparation, construction, lawncare, enrichment, and more!

During the season when the sanctuary is open and for yearlong special events, we need volunteers and docents to give tours and work in the gift shop. At Black Pine, we value community and welcome the opportunity to host service clubs, scout troops, and corporate giving teams, inviting them to be a part of our sanctuary.

To show our appreciation for volunteering at Black Pine Animal Sanctuary, we offer free admission to the grounds and discounted items in our Wolf Den Gift Shop, with only a minimum 5-hour monthly requirement.
