Tours & General Admission Information for 2025 Season
A trip to Black Pine Animal Sanctuary is a fascinating and unique way to spend a few hours. General Admission and staff-guided tours are offered May 2nd through November 2nd. Online tour reservations are strongly recommended as tours have a size limit.

An in-depth experience

Step behind the scenes and see all the action of Black Pine. Visitors will have a trained & knowledgeable guide to dig into the details of everything from meal prep to safety protocols, and get an exclusive view of animals in their habitats. This up-close and personal view of the sanctuary offers an educational and riveting excursion into the inner workings of a True Animal Sanctuary. Reservations required. Tours require at least a 72-hour lead time and are offered all year long.

Visitors to our multispecies exotic animal sanctuary will experience an hour-and-a-half tour of the grounds with a knowledgeable guide who will share the individual stories & history of our rescued animals. We also include information about their individual species, and insight into the operations of a true animal sanctuary. This tour is not recommended for children under the age of five.

Enrichment Tours
Our most unique experience!
COMING SOON!
The Enrichment Tour offers one of the best chances to see all of our residents and learn about their natural behaviors. Trained Staff will conduct this informative tour while we deliver fresh enrichment items, afternoon snacks and meals to our big cats, bears primates, and more! Due to the nature of this unique encounter, we advise consideration for those children 5 and under and for the faint-of-heart.

Toddlers & Tots Tours
Shorter for young and old
COMING SOON!
Geared towards children 7 years and under, approximately an hour in length, this tour is tailored to be educational while entertaining to engage young minds. Children will receive an animal scavenger hunt card that allows them to track the residents they see during their visit! Feel free to pack your stroller or wagon! Picnic tables are available on the grounds, and the paths are paved.
We invite our senior guests to enjoy this shortened tour as well.

From the first weekend of May to the last weekend of October, Black Pine Animal Sanctuary is open on select days and times for general visitation. Docents will be one the grounds to educate our guests about Black Pine’s residents, their stories, and the exotic pet industry.
